      Let’s hope not!
Science can’t really ruin anything on its own, it all depends how you use it. Science is just the process of making observations to figure out the underlying rules of how things work. Of course, science can lead to the invention of all sorts of things which could have a bad effect on society. Some people would argue that science invented nuclear weapons and they could destroy society as we know it. But I guess it’s up to politicians to decide whether to actually use them.

      Hey,

I don’t think it will. Science helped build our society and thanks to science we now have cars, skyscrapers, TV, computers and satellites in space!

But thanks to science we also have powerful weapons like nuclear bombs that do have the potential to ruin our society. Fortunately we are able to see ahead at the dangers, so we know how to avoid them!
