      Hey,

      Clouds are made up of tiny droplets of water and ice that are small enough to float in the sky. These droplets are big enough to scatter rays of light around, but will scatter all different coloured rays of light equally and all these colours of light add up to make white.

      Because their made of cotton wool of course! (and what Nicholas says :-))
