      I used to work in the lab. When something went wrong in the lab, I could have wasted a week of work and a lot of money without knowing what went wrong. When my program doesn’t work, I spent a day or two writing it and minimal resources and finding the error is often straight forward. It’s a much less frustrating way of doing research.
