      Hi ~ha.n.n.ah~
      Ooo. very good Q.

There are loads but some of the one’s that mattered to me include one earlier this year where headlines said that a “study” has shown overweight/obese don’t need to do any exercise (to lose weight).

This was in most of the newspapers and online. I found the “study” at it wasn’t actually a study but an opinion piece written by someone who wasn’t very experienced in the field. This was poorly reported in the news and meant that a lot of people would now think about giving up their exercise.

I didn’t like this so I wrote the journal and newspapers , along with a lot of other scientists, so that we could get the message out there that the evidence shows that exercise is actually beneficially for overweight/obese people in helping lose more weight than diet alone. Plus it has loads of other benefits besides weight loss.
