• Question: My favourite subject is Maths and Chemistry and I want to be a vet; do I need to concentrate on those subjects (along with biology) or are they not that important?

You will need to know some ‘basic’ Maths to study medicine (including veterinary) but Chemistry will be more important as well as Biology. There will be a lot of biochemistry, which relies on some basics from chemistry so a good understanding will be important.
