• Question: Is there a material in the world that can transmit energy from the moon such as a drone so we can make a drone with solar panels on it and then the energy it gathers it can transmit to earth?

      Hey,

That’s a great thought, but I’m not sure if it’s possible.
The moon doesn’t have an atmosphere, so there are no clouds that could block sunlight and it would be a much easier place to gather solar energy than on earth, but because Earth does have an atmosphere, the benefit of collecting solar energy on the moon would be lost if you tried to send it back to Earth 🙁

The moon does have a lot of rare substances on it that we can’t easily find on Earth (one examples is helium-3), so there may be another benefit to sending drones or robots to the moon – to gather these substances!
