      Nice question!

Because my science is about health and healthcare this is perhaps one of the biggest areas of science where technology will have a huge impact. We already see loads of examples.

I’ve just finished a study that used smartphones to help people with high blood pressure monitor their blood pressure from their own homes and send the data to their doctor via bluetooth and the internet.

We also have new bio-exoskeletons to help people who are paralysed be able to walk.

I also think there will be a health ‘microchip’ or ’tag’, a bit like the electronic tags we put in our pets, that will log all our health information and keep an eye on our biological systems to make sure they are all working ok. We can already put chips in the back of our hands to control doors and office machines!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-31042477

      Hey Kester,

The technology I’m hoping for is nanorobots. Hopefully ones that can arrange atoms and form chemical bonds. Then I can just program the bots to make new substances for me!

I don’t know how far into the future I’ll have to wait though 🙁
