      Hi
Worms are constantly moving around and when there’s lots of them in a small area they bump into each other. They also make some chemicals called pheromones which can attract other worms to them, a bit like the chemicals that make us attractive to each other.
We work with worms from two different places, Bristol and Hawaii. We call the Hawaiian worms social since they clump together whereas the Bristol ones like to move around on their own.
