• Question: When you are worried why does it make you sweat?

      Stress, or anxiety, can trigger something called the fight or flight response. We evolved this response to protect ourselves. As part of this response our brain tells our body to release some chemicals called hormones. One of these is called adrenaline and this hormone tells our body to sweat.
