      Hi Alfie,

      Good question.

So my podcasts would include tips using fun and amusing examples and role play of how to interpret scientific evidence about your health.

      Some topics would include:
      – “Do I really need to inject pregnant women’s urine to help lose weight?”
      – “This breast milk tastes a bit funny but at least it makes me bigger!”
      – “You have more than 11 moles on your arm! You might have cancer!”
      – “If I drink this potion diluted with 1 trillionth (1,000,000,000,000) of Arnica, it will cure my muscle aches. Really?”

Making sense of the science behind these (real) health practices is actually quite easy once you know how. I would use the podcasts to teach you some tricks of the trade and hopefully have some fun with it as well.

Here’s a nice website that looks at lots of this stuff by my colleague Ben Goldacre – hope you enjoy 🙂 http://www.badscience.net/
