No way! There’s soooo much to learn in Science, there’s no way you could ever learn it all. There are a million things about Physics that I don’t know and probably never will, and I studied it for 4 years.
It might sound sad to think that no matter how hard you study you’ll never know it all, but I think actually it just shows how broad and varied science can be – there’s something to interest everyone.
Hi
I stopped doing physics when I finished my GCSEs so although we did a bit of physics in my uni degree I’m definitely not an expert!
Also science is always changing and there is so much to learn there’s no way you could cover it all. Personally I think that learning how to find and use information, learning how to design experiments and learning to solve problems are the most important things to learn.
Wow! I think anyone who can do that would probably rule the world!
I haven’t studied chemistry and physics since I left school so I’m definitely not an expert! However, when you look around you can see that all aspects of science surround us in our everyday lives.
So when you take a medicine that would have involved chemistry and biology to make it and understand how it works in the body. And when swipe you touch phone it’s because of physics that it works.
I wouldn’t think I’ve come close to covering everything – there’s just too much of it and more gets discovered every day! I did study all the sciences at A-level though, and even though I’m a chemist I try and learn a bit more physics and biology in my spare time, so I’m trying to cover it all. Knowing everything is an impossible task, it would be like trying to walk up the down escalator and you’re moving slower than the escalator is!
